Our Craft & Standards

Every Aurevaa piece is made to be used, not just displayed. That's a design choice as much as a craft one, it shapes which materials we work with and how we finish them.

Lead-Free

Our metal pieces - kansa, brass, and beyond are made without lead in the alloy. That's true across every metal piece we sell, not just a subset.

Lacquer-Free

Most brass on the market is sealed under a synthetic lacquer coating to keep it shiny. We leave ours unsealed by design. That means our brass develops its own patina over years of use, the way it always has, rather than staying artificially bright under a layer of coating that eventually chips or wears through.

Food-Safe

Our pieces are made to hold food and drink, not just sit on a shelf - that's the standard we design and finish to, from the metal we choose to the glazes on our ceramics.
